About Beth

An ordained pastor, experienced faith-based advocate, and the person behind Beth Cantrell Spiritual Care.

Beth Cantrell has spent her ministry meeting people where they are — in churches across Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina, and now in the one-on-one spiritual care she offers through this ministry. Her training spans theology, divinity, and peer support, but her approach is grounded in something simpler: showing up, listening, and walking alongside people through whatever they're carrying.

Beth is a progressive Christian who loves God, loves Jesus, and believes the church can and should do better for people living with mental illness, chronic pain, grief, and doubt. She started this ministry because she wanted to be the kind of pastoral presence she herself had needed — honest, unhurried, and genuinely present.
